The batteries have a tendency to die if they aren't put in the camera straight away after being recharged, which can be a pain, especially when I like to grab my camera on the spare of the moment but find that it's completely uselessly because the batteries are dead. I've noticed that rechargeable NiMH batteries lose their charge very soon after being fully recharged.
My 35mm SLR is a Pentax MZ-60, which I also love, but haven't been using too often lately. Until I can afford the developing costs (or better yet, develop the photos myself) it's much easier for me to stick to digital, which is a shame, because I'd go for film over digital any day.
